[There's a treasure chest on the ground. In it, are a bunch of red Ranger keys. Nearly 40 in all. There's also some targets set up, far away from the trees. Marvelous has no intention of using potential food sources as targets.

Stop by and watch/talk/spar if you wish. Just don't go near that chest. It might turn bad for you if he doesn't know you well.]

[Action 2: The sky/outskirts of town - Open to all; Interior of Gokai-Oh locked to Ako]

[The Galleon is flying over the town, Marvelous perched on the bow, a makeshift megaphone of his own sloppy design in his hand. He wants to make an announcement to all that can hear, so he'll repeat it several times before reaching his destination.]

OK everyone. This is Captain Marvelous. I'm about to conduct an experiment outside of town. So...don't get shocked by anything you're about to see, ok?

[So, he'll continue to the outskirts of town. For those that are watching him, will eventually see 4 smaller craft come out of the top of the Galleon, and quickly form a gigantic robot...pirate-themed of course. Come yell at him or be amazed.]

Switch under the left side of the seat. Forward for up.

[And with that, he'll take his hands off the wheel. Luckily, Gokai-Oh doesn't move when he does so.]

[Boosting herself up, Ako gripped the controls.] Left, right, some switches I guess?

The wheel controls the majority of the movement. The harder the turn, the quicker the movement. Clicking the switch nearest to the wheel on the right will switch from legs to arms. The one on the left will turn the controls from horizontal to vertical, allowing for ducking. The pedal is your ability to jump.

But, we should be far enough from the town for you to get a feel for that on your own.

Sounds simple enough. Lets give this a try.

[Switching to legs, she started to turn it to the left...]

[Gokai-Oh shifts to the left, taking a small step, and connecting solidly with the ground with a 'thud'.]

Good. Took Doc three tries to get a simple step without tripping.

That's good then. Lets try this again then. [And she spins it to the right to make it take another step.]

[Another successful stomp. And there goes a rather dead-looking tree in the process.]

I should also teach you about the radar while I'm thinking about it...

Is it easier to see incoming things than relying on the big screen?

Yeah. Especially when there are people and small things on the ground that can get crushed really easily.

You do have to get a feel for watching both at the same time.

So sort of like a video game with a mini-map. I got it.

I...suppose.

[Nope. Doesn't know what that is.]

Try the vertical stuff now.

All right. [Flicking the switch to up and down, Ako gave the wheel a good spin to make it crouch down.]

Ok...let's try a roll. And no hints.

Hmm, okay... [Switching to legs, she threw it to the side as she also kept it on up and down...]

Good...

[He'll just stand there, letting the physics of the whole thing keep him in place...]

[And carefully she would roll the zord around, making sure that it kept within the boundaries of the outskirts of the town...]

OK. Now...leap out of it, and draw the swords with the lever on the side.

All right. [Pushing herself into a roll, she swiftly flipped switches and pushed the zord into a leap, pulling the lever as she did so.]

[And the satisfying sound of steel drawing filled the air as the mech lands in position.]

You're a natural at this, dear daughter.

Thanks papa. I try at least.

[She swapped to arms and started to move the swords around a little.]

That you do.

[Proud grin.

But then, a thought occurs to him.]

Turn away from the town and we can do something even funner. Try and point as close to Mayfield as you can.

All right. [And she flipped a couple of switches, moving the Gokai-Oh towards the way where the road used to stretch out towards.]

Sorry town. Breaking my promise. But...I'm sure everyone'll understand. Hey...fairies. Take these keys and plug em in.

[He'll toss GokaiBlue, Pink and Green to them.]

Here's yours.

[Over comes Luka's to Ako.]

Now...on the count of three 'Let's Go' and turn the keys.

Dodo! Shishi! [The two fairies plugged them in as well as Ako and they prepared the keys.]

Ready when you are papa.

3...2...1...LET'S GO!

[And click goes the keys.

And with that a gigantic cannon emerges from Gokai-Oh's chest cavity.]

Gokai Starburst!

[And it fires, rather showily towards Mayfield.]
