It's the Kagamine's birthday!

[If one were wandering near the control bunker today, they'd encounter Rin. She's bundled up in one of the winter coats over her Asymmetry outfit, and it seems she's set up a little party for herself. There's paper decorations, a table, and most importantly... a seriously huge cake! Her dog is at her feet, also enjoying some special treats. She figures he was a Len in the PV, so it's his birthday too. And best of all, if you are her friend, you were definitely invited! The cake is for sharing.

... Of course, the party's proximity to the bunker might suggest that she is desperately hoping for unexpected guests to arrive as well. Her last birthday has not gone forgotten.

While she's still alone, though, she sings a little song.]

[She briefly stares at Lenlen like he was the one to talk.

Then she looks up and who is in the door but the guest of honor? Rin can't help it. She lets out a happy squeal and jumps to her feet.]

Len!! Get over here!! ♪

[I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BUT HERE I COME!!]

♪ Geez, is it our birthday already?!

[roadroller]

[and no sooner does he stop than he is getting a big hug.]

[and a squeeze.]

Yeah. But don't worry. It's never going to happen again. I mean it... look around! ♪

♪ Yeah, I was wondering about that. What happened to the town?

It's ... gone, I guess. I don't fully understand what happened, but Annie - the librarian - opened the highway, and now we've got a new place and we're in charge of it. ♪

[but while they're on the topic, she must confess.]

... It's still kinda shabby, though ... and we still can't leave. See, it's more of a simulation than we thought. Not that it really changes who we are, but some people were pretty upset. ♪

[she points behind Len, smiling again as she changes the subject just as quickly.]

In the room back there is a machine that reversed the droning. That's why I was waiting for you here. ♪

[roadrolling]

♪ We're in charge, huh? Cool! So it won't be so bad anymore, right? Even if we can't leave...

[he wants to ask more about that, but she changes the subject too quickly. he looks back at where she's pointing, then back at her]

♪ Sorry... how long did you have to wait?

[roadroller]

Yeah, yeah! It won't be bad at all. ♪

[She twirls a piece of her hair.]

Um ... it was September. [when he was droned, she means. ... Anyway, she figures she'd better tell him her feelings now. It does no good to hide them from Len, and she doesn't want to keep secrets.]

But, I'm sorry too... they told me your data was deleted, so I've only been waiting for today. I was afraid you wouldn't remember. ♪

[Guess who's dropping by and cutting herself a slice of that cake. And then sticking a leek in said slice, just because.]

[she's already having cake, but she'll flinch just slightly seeing it leekified. Gross, sis. Gross.]

Yeah. I'm going to put together a band again, but other than that, I don't have anything else to do.

A band, huh... I doubt anyone other than us even brought instruments with them though. It'll be a while before you can do anything. Might as well relax~ ♪

[She grins, and casts a glance toward the bunker. She tries not to stare though, and turns her attention back on Yuna.]

Well, what if we played a game? I still have some paper, we could use that somehow. ♪

[Rin's managed to be resourceful. There were all of those blank books in the top floor of library... since they were blank, she didn't mind borrowing a couple just to cut their pages into snowflakes and write on and such. Besides, she can always regenerate them later.]

Oh! We could try Kokkuri-san! That would probably be pretty easy.

[Because everybody loves creepy Japanese fortune-telling games.]

Ooh, sounds fun! I'll write it. ♪

[she gets out a pen and carefully draws the board up. Got a coin, Yuna?]

[Nope, but now she does! Ah, the wonders of creation ex nihilo. She hands Rin a five-yen coin.]

[Yuna smirks a little, looking at the paper curiously.]

Anyway, the first thing we have to do is check if there's any spirits to answer in the first place, right? ♪

[She puts an index finger on the coin and waits for Yuna to do the same. Then she speaks in a spooooky voice]
