Yeah, good idea. I like being prepared for anything anyhow. And more tech would be appreciated instead of working with dated things.

If we stay here, the pantry might do... though I wonder if the Library is going to stay open all night.

There's still daylight, and I think we should get the station wagon over here, even if we can't drive it around until it's converted to another power source.

On the way over to the bunker, we can do some foraging, and see if anybody wants to join in on stone soup?

Of course! We can make you your own room and everything.

I'm going to see if there's any place to cook, because we're going to need it soon, I think. Near as I can tell the cafeteria here isn't equipped, so I might have to work something out.

Of course I wouldn't mind! This town needs you just as much as it needs everyone else, you know?

[ She offers a hand. ] Let's go!

Good idea. It saves the trouble of having to spend time slowly rebuilding a kitchen in the house.

Really, don't worry about it! I like basketball lessons a lot, so I don't mind working extra hard for them.

That would be great! I really hope we can make lots of nice gardens... and then everyone really enjoy their new houses.

[Henry's currently going around their new town trying to figure out away for everyone to communicate. The phones back in Mayfield were a good idea but he wants to try and at least make it a bit different from the place.]

Maybe if I put up phone lines it'll help out. We could have little hand held computer things and talk to each other over video sometimes...

[He's mainly talking to himself but he wouldn't mind feedback.]

I believe I can rig that to serve us, love--it will get the Rambler home with energy to spare.

[This city was WAY too empty. And with the town still being rebuilt, it wasn't going to power themselves. With that, Dr. Eggman set about making a power plant for the town. Mostly so he could leech off of it for his soon-to-be-built fortress.]

Get a move on! This town's going to be up and running soon and we have to make sure they have power to use when the time comes!

[And as he watches his Egg Pawns and Egg Robos continue their work, he turns back to the Mecha Sonic as he continued modifying him.]

So, Sonic AND Shadow are active here, eh? Well, then, I'll just have to make sure that, when the time comes, I'll be ready for them!

Liebe, forget rebuilding the Nash. I am not in Mayfield, now. I do not have to satisfy the drones, escape the notice of the mad idiots running the town, or limit myself to the tools and equipment Mayfield could supply. Here, I can be a spark -- more than ever before.

Wait till you see what a Europan madboy comes up with starting from the idea of a convertible! Just wait!

[He actually dances a little jig, so thrilled is he. So much he learned in Mayfield, so much! Such ideas he has! And now his own mind can make them, even if only a piece or two a day!}

[ Hayate walked around the streets with a satisfied smile. There was much to be done, but everyone was working together to build this new town. It had been a long journey, but at last he could rest easy.

He was happy that the people he knew back home did not have to know the horrors of Mayfield. Wait... those memories are from the 'real' Hayate. That means that his mistress and the debt... they were not his to be burdened with. This in turn rid of the shackles that bounded him previously.

It was time to put all things aside and to shape himself to a better future. First thing to do... was find his friends or anyone that he knew before. ]

Yes, that would bring color to this new town. Maybe trees while we're at it?

N-no way, really, I'm okay! I'm just happy to spend time together and everything...

Mm, yeah! I've never planted a tree before, but... I'm sure we can do it! Just in time for that Christmas holiday too.

Well, I guess if you're sure... you really don't know what you're missing, though~

[ She chuckles, collecting the cooking equipment, and putting everything but the knife and the soup pot away in the pantry. ]

I'd like to be able to put together a good kitchen, myself. But the gas cook-top and ovens will need to wait until we can work up proper sanitation. Hmm... [ She looks at the sky a moment from the front door, ] ...maybe a rainwater collection and purification system? Looks like we might see some rain.

[ She nods her head out the door, soup pot and knife in hand. ] C'mon, we're burning daylight.
