1st New Key: Testing ALL the things

[Action 1: Park - Open to all]

OK. Time to see how you lot fare.

[There's a treasure chest on the ground. In it, are a bunch of red Ranger keys. Nearly 40 in all. There's also some targets set up, far away from the trees. Marvelous has no intention of using potential food sources as targets.

Stop by and watch/talk/spar if you wish. Just don't go near that chest. It might turn bad for you if he doesn't know you well.]

[Action 2: The sky/outskirts of town - Open to all; Interior of Gokai-Oh locked to Ako]

[The Galleon is flying over the town, Marvelous perched on the bow, a makeshift megaphone of his own sloppy design in his hand. He wants to make an announcement to all that can hear, so he'll repeat it several times before reaching his destination.]

OK everyone. This is Captain Marvelous. I'm about to conduct an experiment outside of town. So...don't get shocked by anything you're about to see, ok?

[So, he'll continue to the outskirts of town. For those that are watching him, will eventually see 4 smaller craft come out of the top of the Galleon, and quickly form a gigantic robot...pirate-themed of course. Come yell at him or be amazed.]

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

[Marvelous keeps charging through the block, attempting to push Asakura back towards one of the trees.]

[Asakura's taking a few wild swings with his own sword and trying to avoid getting pushed too far back towards the trees--but he's lost a small bit of ground.]

Hope you don't mind the speed. Wouldn't want a bad man like you getting tired.

[Oh? What's Marvelous trying to reach for between swings? Looks an awful lot like a hawk/hairdrier-shaped flamethrower...]

[There's a growl of vexation, and Asakura starts hitting harder and faster. He's aiming most of his strikes at the hairdryer thing, because that seems important. Can't have that.]

I'm just getting loosened up.

Then you might wanna hurry up about it...

[Rolling away from the incoming slashes, he re-sheaths the Hayatemaru, pulling it and its sheath off his back, and pulls out Dry gun, pointing both the makeshift rifle and flamethrower at Asakura.]

...Or I might heat you up beforehand.

[In a move that sort of handwaves proper physics because that's just how his world's weaponry tends to work, Asakura's got his staff in hand again, and he's drawn another card.]

Wouldn't be the first time anyone's tried that.

[He's putting the card in the staff as he talks.]

ADVENT

[There is now a large, angry purple cobra monster emerging from that conveniently-placed nearby mirror.]

What in the...

[Rolling again from a lunging snake, Marvelous fires the rifle at Asakura, while training the flames at Venosnaker.]

[Asakura's rolling out of the way of the rifle shots, while Venosnaker just seems irritated by the entire thing and retaliates with a mouthful of acid spat in Marvelous's direction. The flames are at least keeping the snake from getting close enough to attempt anything involving physical contact.]

[Now that he's bought himself a little time to strategize, Marvelous has ditched the rifle to pop out a new key for himself.]

If were gonna play with pets, then let's make it interesting...Gokai Change!

[GEEKKKIIRANGER!]

Come here snakey...there's someone who wants to play with you...

[Marvelous waits for Venosnaker to try to strike again, and when it does...]

Hou Hou Dan!

Oh, it's going to be one of those fights, is it?

[Asakura seems quite unimpressed by that tiger-thing, though it's enough to keep Venosnaker good and busy. He's drawn another card.]

ADVENT

[Evildiver has joined the fray and is lunging at Marvelous.]

It's the best way to fight.

[Marvelous ducks and rolls under Evildivers lunge, and positions himself to leap on top on the next pass, whirling out his nunchaku to use as a pair of reigns.]

[Evildiver comes around again for another pass, and that leaping attempt will be successful. Enjoy your bucking bronco of a manta ray, Marvelous.]

Tch. Now I'm vexed...

[Asakura's waving that sword around again. While Venosnaker's tangling with GekiTiger, Asakura will try to charge over and knock Marvelous off of the ticked-off manta ray.]

Wait your turn, sparky.

[While trying his damndest to stay steady on the motions of Evildiver, he fires a few Geki Dan in Asakura's direction.]

COme on you ugly, smelly piece of bait. Go over there...

[He's trying to steer Evildiver towards the other two beasts...]

[Asakura's forced to dodge out of the way of the Geki Dan, which halts his attempts to knock Marvelous free.]

Like I'm going to make it that easy on you...

[Evildiver's still struggling, but it does turn in the direction Marvelous wants. Asakura, for his part, still has another card or two up his sleeve.]

ADVENT

[Metalgelas has joined the party and is charging at GekiTiger. At least Asakura can't bring any more pets out to play.]

Never figured you would.

[All the while, he's managed to pull a new key himself, and is timing the dive he's forcing Evildiver into.]

You ready Tiger?

[GekiTiger roars in approval as it keeps Venosnaker in place, whipping it's tail in an attempt to shake off Metalgelas' advances.]

[Venosnaker and Metalgelas are still busy with GekiTiger, and Evildiver si still stubbornly trying to shake Marvelous. The manta ray's going into the dive anyway, despite its fighting.]

STRIKE VENT

[Asakura busted out some of his own heavier armament--or at least, Gai's heavier armament--and was trying to make another rush at Marvelous, dive or no dive.]

Come at me if you want. I've got no problem adding another wreck to this...

[He's plugged that new key in, and at the last possible second...]

[JEETTMAN]

[Instead of simply shooting up like he'd planned, he swoops down at Asakura instead, sword out in front of him, as GekiTiger vanishes, leaving the three monsters to try to avoid crashing into each other.]

[There is a confused collision of three very irritated Mirror Monsters...which might have given Asakura an idea were it not for the fact that he had Marvelous swooping down on him with that sword.

He raises the rhino-headed weapon he's got off the Strike Vent to block that blow, and he will also try to use it to force Marvelous back towards the bickering monsters.]

[Sword-fighting in the air is rather difficult to keep up for an extended period, so Marvelous is back on the ground, soon enough, trying to fruitlessly break through the increased defenses of Asakura's weaponry.]

So...what exactly are you? Some kind of Chimera-themed Rider?

Not exactly--I killed the other two's Riders. Figured I'd put them to use...

[Marvelous, you're giving him ideas. He'll make one more thrust with that weapon, then he's pulled another card.]

...but if you're interested in chimeras...

[Yeah, he's using that card.]

UNITE VENT

[Well, at least Genocider can't attack from three different directions at once, even if it is huge, ugly, and foul-tempered.]

Killed them? I thought Riders were some kinda heroes?

[Tsukasa-aside of course. He's still put him in the same grey area as himself.

But that sickening roar from behind him will get his attention.]

Is that it?

[He'll swoop away from both for a second, taking a swipe at Asakura as he does so.]

Then maybe I should pull out a new trick myself...that spiky one probably.

[Out comes a new key.]

Wanna be the first to get trampled by this flashy guy?

Some of them like to think they are...those are the most vexing.

[Asakura's pulled back to stand beside Genocider before sending the monster to charge at Marvelous.]

I'd like to see you try.

Or maybe you're just the outlier. Every group needs their psychopath.

[He'll plug the strangely-shaped key into his Mobirates.]

[AAAAAAAAAAAKKIBARANGER?????]

W-what?

[That's not a good noise.....transformation works though.]

Ok...sidearm...sidearm...

[Out comes.....]

A DOLL!? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?

[At the sight of the doll, Asakura burst out laughing so hard it looked like he might be in danger of falling over.]

A doll? You're going to try to defeat me with...

[He's almost laughing too hard to talk, but while he's laughing, he's gesturing at Genocider.]

Maybe you should have checked your weaponry before trying to use it.

[Doll or no doll, Marvelous has incoming Genocider. Looks like the monster's finally figured out what Asakura wanted despite the laughter.]

Dammit...dammit...

[Marvelous rolls out of the way quickly, just barely dodging Genocider.]

This is like when Jan Kandou couldn't immediately use his transformation in the first episode.......what the hell am I talking about!?

[Did Gai suddenly possess him or something? He's so pissed off by the absurdity that he whacks the doll...which transforms in to the Moe Magnum.]

That's better!

[And now he's opening fire on Genocider.]
