[Found you....only now she's not really sure what to do. After all, they had a truce but that was only until they got out. And now they were effectively trapped here forever. After a small moment of thought, GLaDOS falls into step with her former test subject.]

Let me guess. You're looking for a way out.

[Chell is just about as lost as GLaDOS is, she glances over at the AI, well, they both were AI now, weren't they, and walks along with her.

She gives a half-hearted shrug, logically she knows she can't leave, but old habits die hard. The memories from the real Chell and the memories she made in Mayfield all were centered around trying to escape. She doesn't need to any more, but with all the horrors she had been through, it's difficult to adjust her way of thinking so soon.]

You might want to find a place to live then. Unless you plan to wander around until it snows.

[Just walking. She's still trying to get a grip on the whole, never returning to Aperture thing.]

[Chell nods, she knows that she needs a house, but after everything that's gone on, it's a little overwhelming to have the choice of where to live, to even build what kind of house that she wanted.

All she knew is that she did not want to live with Cliff again.]

[GLaDOS glances off to the other houses being built.]

Well if you can't find a place soon, I'm already renovating a house if you want to help. If your ability to build things is anything like your ability to destroy things, I'm sure it will go quite quickly.

It would be a place to live anyway.

[Look, it's not because she's lonely and homesick. Okay. She's just being ni....screw it, it's the first two.]

[Chell's motionless for a moment, then gives a single, firm, and resolute nod. In Mayfield, they had been through a lot together and so far, nobody else had offered her a house.

Who knows, maybe things could end up better between them than the real ones.]

[GLaDOS had turned back to watch her. Well aware that any answer she received wouldn't be vocal.

And for a moment she looks rather startled at the nod. She'd been almost entirely certain Chell would have just glared at her or refused some other way.]

...alright then.

[And for a moment there's an actual smile. Not a, oh good I have you now, but a real smile. It's soon replaced with her normal blanker expression. But it was there for a moment.]

Here, I'll show you where it is.

[Chell caught the smile, but even if she was talking to the AI, she wouldn't have made a comment on it.

She nods again, curious to see what GLaDOS had chosen to do for her house, and now her own living space.]

[Good, because she would deny it.

Anyway, she'll lead them a few streets away to a house at the end of one of the streets. Inside is mostly bare, but it's not totally unbuilt.]

Well, here we are.

[Chell follows along, the Turret Wife merrily teleporting behind her like a strange and silent dog.

She looks around her new home, it's nothing special, but it'll definitely do. Chell's not one for complaining and she can adapt to nearly any situation.]

[She looks around at the bare walls.]

If you see a robot around that's not from Aperture, it's probably Tachikoma. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up. And a small girl named Kuyou appeared again as well.

[Chell nods and pulls out the notebook that GLaDOS had given her for Christmas almost a year ago. It's nearly full of notes and conversations that took place during that time, however there's still a few pages in the back that have space.

She carefully writes down, "What do they look like?" and holds it up for GLaDOS to read.]

[Oh well that's something at least.]

The machine is large, blue and resembles a spider if someone who had a warped idea of spiders made it.

The girl is small with a lot of long dark hair, and doesn't talk much. She's Japanese.

[Chell nods thoughtfully, she hasn't seen either of those two around, but if GLaDOS liked them, then they certainly must be interesting.]

[More like, puts up with them and eventually came to care about them....somewhat. Maybe. As long as they didn't mess with her things.]

We'll have to fix up the basics of the house first. There isn't any electricity or heat yet. Most of the walls are half built as well.

[Chell gives GLaDOS a firm nod and tilts her head slightly. She'll start work on whatever is needed, even if she doesn't have much clue of how to do it.]

[She's got so much faith in you. Really :|]

Why don't I take the electrical and mechanics of the house then? Do you think you can get a few things up in the kitchen?

[Chell's time in Aperture proves that she's a bit more handy with destruction than construction, but she doesn't remember trying to build anything before, so she could have some hidden talents. Like always, she's going to rely on her stubbornness to carry her through.

She nods to GLaDOS, she'd be better off with general stuff, since she doesn't know anything about wiring.

Chell's ready to get to work on building her new life.]
